Provo Canyon with my manyon

I know I already shared my opinion of October and here is one of the things I love about it so much, going on a ride through the canyon, enjoying the awesome weather, and the changing leaves. Sunday I drove down to Provo to spend some time with Cam and we decided to take a little drive through the canyon. I'll be honest, the tight roads and big drop offs aren't my favorite... I actually get pretty anxious but, Its so worth it once you see how beautiful your surroundings are, I can't help but be amazed.

October

October is the best month of the year. Period.Better than December. Better than June. Better than any month.Halloween is the best Holiday. Period. Better than Christmas. Better than my birthday. Better than any holiday.

Ok, I know those are some very strong opinions but, the fact that it's fall makes my heart so happy. Here are a few reasons why I love this month:


-The weather

-Halloween movies -- Halloween town, Casper, Hocus Pocus, Under wraps, etc.

-Caramel apples

-Halloween Decorations

-Lagoon (Only time of year I'll go.)

-Pumpkins

-Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

-Halloween sugar cookies

-Halloween coloring books

-Good TV

-Red and orange leaves

-Babies in halloween costumes

-Football

-Jackets

-Cooking shows making all kinds of good halloween treats

-Sleeping with my window open

-Going on rides through the canyon

I just realized that I have yet to post anything about my little pooch that I got back in March... Oh I had NO idea what I was getting myself into...

I feel like I have a child. I do. I'm raising a child. That's what it feels like but, I love it. There is something really fun about having her there with her little wagging tail when I come home from work, don't make fun, its really comforting.

I'm not going private. Because there are only 10 of you who read this thing.. its just not worth it. I really think I need to just delete this thing but, I can't bring myself to do it.. maybe someday I'll be a good blogger... but, probably not.

Oh hi, my name is Tyler and I'm the cutest thing in the world.

The rules of taekwondo everyone.

Well I decided that it was time to spruce up the ol' bedroom. My mom had mentioned seeing a really fun/pretty chandelier at home depot so, I took advantage of my day off and tackled the mini project. Once we had the chandelier my mom thought it would be a good idea to put a dimmer on the switch, I was so down, couldn't be hard right? Well we hurried home and starting taking everything apart thinking that we could definitely manage, and for a while we were doing well.. until we couldn't find certain wires and what not.. we called my dad right away. He's so handy, he made everything look so easy. He's superman.

At one point in the process my dad cut the chord a little too short so, we (and by we I mean my dad) had to take the whole chandelier apart and rewire it with some extra wires we had from earlier...if that makes any sense. I was having melt down because I thought my money had gone to waste but, my dad knew exactly what he was doing and wasn't stressed at all. Sounds about right.

Don't mind the scary pictures of me, it was a no make up morning.

I'm loving the new light and the touch of femininity.
